Open Studios is a chance for people to meet artists in their workplace and see how they work. It is also an opportunity to buy artworks direct from the artists, or to commission special pieces.
Participating artists will be opening their studios to the public on selected weekends throughout October 2008, between the hours of 10AM to 1PM and 2PM to 6PM. This will give visitors the unique opportunity to meet the artist and see their work. Artists who don't have their own workshop exhibit in one of the participating galleries.
To help you find your way, participating artists will display an Open Studios banner or poster outside their premises. On this website and in the Guide to the Open Studios 2008 are directions to the studios, addresses and telephone numbers of each participating artist.
This years open studios is endorsed by Paphos Municipality, the Cyprus Tourist Organization, and EKATE, the Cypriot Chamber of Fine Arts.
